Classes Classes For Kids

Students should wear comfortable, athletic clothes, including sweatpants and sneakers. Knickers may be required for some specialty classes.

No shorts are allowed at RIFAC or any fencing facility. Use of all fencing equipment is free and will be provided for all classes (excluding the Advanced Youth Class).

Students should also bring plenty of water or Gatorade to drink.

Water and soft drink machines are located at the RIFAC/East Bay facility only.

All equipment is provided for classes, except for students enrolled in the Advanced Youth Class.

Be sure to visit the RIFACTORY if you'd like to purchase your own equipment and gear, as well as casual apparel and fencing gifts.

Students enrolled in Advanced Youth classes must have their own electric equipment. Enrollment for the Advanced Youth class is by consent of coach only.

Armory

RIFAC is dedicated to maintaining the good working order of all of our fencers' weapons.

Our armory provides support for malfunctioning and broken equipment.
